Lancing Equestrian

Lancing Equestrian is a 5-star licensed, British Horse Society approved riding centre, livery yard and training centre at Hoe Court Farm in Lancing, West Sussex. It provides riding tuition for college pupils and the wider community and works alongside Mid-Sussex Riding for the Disabled. Lessons cover dressage, jumping, hacking, equitation and mounted games. Horseball lessons are offered at a range of levels.

The academy offers training in riding and yard skills. Academy membership includes priority session booking, badges and certificates. Stable management and badge sessions run on Saturday afternoons during term time. Ridden badge sessions take place monthly and during half-term breaks.

The centre provides stabling for 22 horses and has a 40m by 20m all-weather arena with a sand and rubber surface. The arena has floodlights for evening riding. Facilities also include a wash bay with a treatment area and horse solarium, plus 15 acres of grazing with group and small group herds. There is access to riding trails in the South Downs National Park, and boots and hats are available for hire.

New riders must first register an online account. All new riders begin with a 30-minute private assessment lesson. Assessment grading then unlocks sessions appropriate to the rider's level.
